AscentOptics’ 100G CFP2 optical transceivers support 100m of multi-mode fiber to 40km of single-mode fiber reach. The 100G CFP2 products family includes 100G CFP2 SR10, 100G CFP2 LR4 and 100G CFP2 ER4 optical transceivers.
100G CFP2 SR10 supports link lengths of 100 meters and 150 meters over OM3 and OM4 multifiber cables. 100G LR4 CFP2 module support the link distance up to 10 km over single-mode fiber (SMF, G.652). And 100G ER4 CFP2 modules support the link distance up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF, G.652). 100G CFP2 transceivers are compatible with IEEE802.3ba, MSA and other standards. It has the characteristics of low power consumption, dual rate with 100G ethernet and OTU4. It is widely applied in large data center, metro core and other telecom network environments.
