AscentOptics’ CFP 100GBASE-LR4 and CFP 100GBASE-ER4 optical module supports a link length of 10km, 20km and 40km on standard single-mode fiber (SMF, G.652) with LC optical connectors.
100 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over four wavelengths. Multiplexing and demultiplexing of the four wavelengths are managed within the device. The 100G CFP LR4/ER4 optical module meets the IEEE 802.3ba requirements for 100GBASE-LR4/100GBASE-ER4, compliant with 100G CFP MSA, and supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM).It has the characteristics of low power consumption, dual rate with 100G ethernet and OTU4. They are widely applied in large data centers, telecom and other network facilities.
