56G QSFP+ DAC is a passive direct attach copper cable assembly for 56G InfiniBand or 40GbE Ethernet systems. The QSFP+ DAC provides 56Gb/s throughput for interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. The QSFP+ DAC cable combines 4 independent 14 Gbps NRZ transmit and receive signal channels for an aggregate 56 Gbps data rate. It is fully compliant with QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and InfiniBand 4X FDR standard. The 56G DAC is suitable for very short distances and offers a highly cost-effective way to establish a 56 gigabit link connectivity between devices using QSFP+ ports. It is suitable for 56Gb/s InfiniBand FDR interconnect networking applications such as high-performance computing (HPC) and enterprise networks, including top-of-rack switching and storage networks. AscentOptics provide high performance 56G QSFP+ DAC cables, length options cover from 0.5 meters to 5 meters.
