10GEPON almost completely inherits the existing EPON standard and follows the IEEE 802.3ah MPCP protocol of EPON to the maximum extent, only expanding the upstream and downstream bandwidth of 802.3ah standard to reach 10G rate; It has good compatibility with EPON network. The ONU of 10G EPON can share an ODN with the ONU of 1G EPON. 10G EPON has many applications, most of which are concentrated in China. 10GEPON has two physical layer modes, one is asymmetric mode, that is, 10G downlink and 1G uplink; The other is symmetrical mode, that is, the uplink and downlink speeds are both 10G. AscentOptics can provide 10G EPON OLT SFP+ transceivers for 10G EPON OLT, which include different type, like PR30, PRX30 and PR40 according to different optical power.we can also provide 10G EPON ONU SFP+ and 10G EPON ONU XFP transceivers for ONU devices.
