AscentOptics' 200G QSFP28-DD includes two solutions
One is the 2X 100G solution, which uses the 8x25G optical channel. For example, the 2X 100G SR4 realizes short distance 100M transmission through the MPO-16 optical jumper interface. 2X100G CWDM4, 2X100G 4WDM-10, 2KM, 10KM transmission is realized through the 2X CS new dense connector interface. This 2X100G QSFP28-DD optical module can realize compatibility with the traditional 100G QSFP28 transmission of the data center switch. QSFP-DD 2x100G has an 8x25G optical channel operating in NRZ encoding. They comply with QSFP-DD MSA.
AscentOptics also provide QSFP28-DD LR4 10km and ER4 40km solution that converts 4x 50G LWDM4 PAM4 optical signals into 8-way NRZ electrical signals.
The module converts eight channels of 25Gb/s (NRZ) electrical input data to four channels of LAN-WDM optical signals and multiplexes them into a single channel for 200Gb/s (PMA4) optical transmission. On the upper side of the receiver, the module optically demultiplexes the 200Gb/s (PMA4) optical input into four channel WDM optical signals and converts them into eight 25Gb/s (NRZ) electrical output data.
