100G QSFP28 DAC is the QSFP28 to QSFP28 copper direct 100GBASE-CR4 cable, which is suitable for very short links and offer a cost-effective choice to establish a 100 gigabit link between two 100G QSFP28 ports of switches within racks and across adjacent racks. It is compliant with QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standard SFF-8665, IEEE 802.3bj and Infiniband EDR. 100G DAC cables are configured with 4 independent channels of NRZ signals, up to 25.78 Gbps data rate per channel. It is assembled with two QSFP28 electrical connectors and fixed cable lengths. 100G QSFP28 DAC cables provide power-efficient connectivity for short distance interconnections. They enable higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at low cost, and reduce power consumption requirements in the high-performance computing (HPC), data centers and storage networks.
